Ceramic persimmon

Ceramic reproduction of a persimmon fruit handmade in Spain.

The artist Armando makes these lovely reproductions with Portuguese white clay and then paints them.  He grows his own vegetables and makes casts of them, resulting in very realistic vegetables and fruits.

This is a 100% handmade ceramic persimmon made in his atelier near Sevilla.

These pieces have different colors and hues to mimic the originals.  Some pieces have a hole to increase stability when placed on a surface. All fruits are hollow.
